Brewtown Corporate Christmas Parties 

Terms & Conditions

General

  • Paying the deposit means you accept all terms and conditions as set out below.
  • Christmas Parties take place in a shared space with other guests unless you have written confirmation of a private hire. The parties are held under the covered Greenspace at Brewtown.

Minimum numbers

  • Minimum group size: 20 people per group.
  • If smaller groups join to meet the minimum group size, only one point of invoice will be accepted and one bar tab on the party date.
  • If your group drops below 20 after confirmation, you will still be charged for 20.

Booking, Deposit & Numbers

  • Bookings are only confirmed once the $500 non-refundable deposit is received by Brewtown and you have been set confirmation of your booking.
  • Deposit amount is deducted from your final invoice.
  • Your initial number can only change by plus or minus 10 people (cannot go below 20).
  • If you are wanting changes larger than plus or minus 10, contact Brewtown—subject to availability christmas@brewtown.co.nz

Final Details & Payments

  • Final attendee numbers & bar tab/drink token requests are due 1 month before your party date.
  • Your final invoice is based on these numbers & bar tab type—no changes allowed after.
  • If you don’t provide final details for your group on time, Brewtown will invoice you based on your last provided numbers and default to a cash/EFTPOS bar (no bar tab or drink tokens).
  • Full payment due 2 weeks before the event or your booking may be cancelled.

Event Timing

Confirmed start and finish times are noted on your confirmation, if your group will arrive later or depart earlier than these times you must notify us prior to your party date.

Food & Beverage

  • Buffet food served for 3 hours.
  • Drinks not included in the per person price—you may choose a cash bar, pre-paid drink tokens or bar tab (when providing your final details).
  • Bar tab increases on the day require an authorised sign-off and a credit card held behind the bar.
  • All bar tabs payable on day of party, before authorised person leaves venue, unless agreed with Brewtown Management prior to your party date.
  • Unused drink tokens must be returned before Christmas Party ends for next-week refunds; unreturned tokens are non-refundable.
  • No BYO alcohol.
  • No drinks to be taken outside of the greenspace.

Under 18s

  • Alcohol only for 18+ with valid ID.
  • You must advise Brewtown of any under-18 guests prior to your party date in your final details (i.e. 16 & 17 yr olds).
  • Under 16s are not permitted at Greenspace Christmas parties.

Responsibilities & Behaviour

  • Brewtown enforces responsible alcohol service.
  • Intoxication will not be tolerated and intoxicated group members will potentially be denied entry.
  • You are responsible for your group’s behaviour and any damages.
  • Brewtown may refuse service, evict guests, or end the event if needed.

Damage, Loss & Risk

  • Brewtown is not responsible for loss or damage to personal property of attendees.
  • Guests participate in any activities at their own risk.

Cancellations

  • Must be made in writing to christmas@brewtown.co.nz
  • All deposits are non-refundable and will not be refunded should you cancel your party booking.
  • If cancelled within 30 days of the party date, the deposit is non-refundable and all associated party charges (per person costs + bar tab/drink tokens) remain payable.
  • Brewtown reserves the right to reject or accept any booking.
  • Brewtown reserves the right to move any booking to an alternative date if necessary. If Brewtown moves your booking and no suitable alternative date is found → full refund provided.
